Lois Peltz is the president and chief executive officer of Infovest21, an information services company based in New York that focuses on alternative investments. Infovest21 integrates news, data, analytics and the interactive power of the internet to provide investors with customized information that will assist each in a time and cost-effective manner.

From 1992-1999, she had been the managing editor of Managed Account Reports. In this capacity, she was responsible for MAR's newsletters, databases and conference programs.

Prior to joining MAR, she had been at Merrill Lynch for twelve years in various capacities including vice president and manager of marketing services/advisor selection at ML Futures Investment Partners where she was responsible for advisor analysis, alternative fund structures, the review of all current funds and marketing support for funds and pools at Merrill Lynch's managed futures subsidiary.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College and received a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Masters in Business Administration from New York University.

She is a frequent commentator on alternative investments in the US, Europe, and Japan. She has spoken at numerous conferences and written numerous columns for various publications. The New Investment Superstars was published in 2002 by John Wiley and Sons.
